We have been on plenty of vacations but this gem was one of our favorites. Free parking. Staff were very friendly and always accommodating. Location location location. First vacation I went to and didnt have to use my vehicle for anything. Plenty of restaurants , bars , venues all within 1-5 min waking distance. Did I mention kid friendly? The most kid friendly resort I’ve seen with the free golf to arcades and pools. We will be back but this time with more family to enjoy with.

The a very particular about cleaning up the room and taking out the trash before you leave. The hotel and its amenities were great. They served free snacks by the pool during our stay that my kids enjoyed. If you want a chair by the pool you need to get out there first thing in the morning and claim them. Otherwise they are filled by 10am even on a Monday.

Very nice condo, well kept. On the 6th floor with very easy access to the garage. Spectacular view of the ocean and beach. Condo was spacious with a 6 seat dining table and 4 barstools for the counter. We planned for 6 people, but thankfully we only had 3 people. 6 adults would have been uncomfortable. Kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation. The Keurig coffee maker was a hit. The Boardwalk was great for sunrise or sunset walks to the fishing pier. There were many restaurants and shops nearby. There was a concert Friday and Saturday night that was fabulous. We listened from our balcony. Saturday's concert was followed by fireworks. There were no kids in our party. However I observed every kid having a blast the pool, lazy river water slide, or in the planned activities led by Ocean Walk Staff. The forecast was for rain daily but usually storms didn't last long. All in all, this vacation rental was a great getaway.

2 towers - stayed in South tower. Not told owned and rented 7 plus days but paid for 2 nights . South tower 505 condo. Old looking. Missing panels for blinds. Smell upon arrival like many pets there previously without cleaning. Bedroom rug filthy. Addressed with resort staff 1st night and also multiple times with I guess owner whom also entered when we were downstairs by pool said she sprinkled rug powder on bedroom rug. Bad for anyone with allergies or respiratory issues.STATES NO PETS.Wrong seen several dogs on property. Allergic asked prior to arrival, told no PETS. Seen on yellow highlighted paperwork of rules NO PETS ALLOWED. Family member had a really hard time breathing in the condo. Had to Stay out of condo most of day until packing then left prior to 3pm. If stayed would need urgent care. Steroids, etc. Asked to be moved. NO. Notified owner request of payment for 2nd night. No response. Resort property otherwise nice outside. Pools clean. Slide great for kids.went to a Marriott down the road on the beach. Clean, fresh air to breath in room.

Very convinient and safe property, most of the things to to with kids is in walking distance, love the ocean view from my room,apartment had everything i needed to get by, washer and dryer in the apartment was huge plus. We go to this resort every year. Have been going for ten years or so. This specific condo in the resort that we stayed in is BY FAR the nicest one we have used. They checked in multiple times to make sure we were ok. Everything was clean, newly updated, plenty of supplies. We are already picking the week for our trip next year and we want to book this same room in the next week or two, next time we will stay for two weeks !! Super happy with everything. Thank you

We love Ocean Walk so much. We stay at this resort 3-4 times a year. The resort property is so nice and the resort staff is always around cleaning and taking care of everything. This time the room we stayed in (505 in the south tower) was not up to par for this resort. It is in need of a good deep clean, and new dishes for the kitchen and new patio furniture for the balcony. I will continue to stay at this resort as often as possible, but will avoid booking with the same private owner again. I did send them a private message with photos of all the built up dirt and grime throughout the room and never got a response.

The king bed and queen bed are side by side and only a cople feet apart. The king mattress was very warn and uncomfortable. We had to let our 10 year old sleep in the king bed because it killed our backs. The condo could use a deep clean and cosmetic improvement. There were food dried pieces stuck on queen comforter where it had not been washed. The tv in the living room had picture quality issues and the cable box in bedroom was hard to use. The location and amentities were amazing!

Not what I was expecting

The welcome desk was rude to us especially when I asked about an extra parking pass , along with wearing stupid bans on your risk! The weather was cool and I thought the indoor pools would be heated but they were not! Room was old and needs to be renovated along with the balcony being painted. The door to the balcony door was very heavy and hard to open. The furniture was outdated and uncomfortable!

We've stayed in other units at Ocean Walk in previous years, those stays were much better than our most recent stay! The biggest issue right now is there are so many properties in the area that are either shut down, run down or badly in need of repair after the hurricane damage a few years ago. The sea walls are under repair, but still damaged, many businesses in the Ocean Walk area to the south are permanently closed! The area doesn't feel as safe as it once did later in the evening. The people were great at the front desk and in the security department! I suppose if you go on a busy weekend or during a busier time than we went it might feel differently, but with so many properties currently closed or completely under repair, it will be a while before we return to downtown Daytona to stay long term.

The overall hotel property was very clean and the staff was professional. I was able to park and enjoy the hotel amenities prior to our room being ready and then the day of check out, we were able to stay at the property and was given a temporary key for the resort. The room itself had broken floor tiles, a stained chair, and a shelf was broken in the fridge. The owner answered right away and was aware of all the previous damage. I would absolutely stay at the hotel again.
