Island Cottage Inn exceeded every expectation. Tim and Kathy were unbelievably attentive, kind, and welcoming—truly outstanding hosts. I travel often and have never had such a consistently positive experience. The location was ideal, and the surrounding community felt like the definition of a perfect beach town: laid-back, friendly, and inviting. This place isn’t just somewhere to stay—it’s somewhere you’re genuinely happy to be. I would return without hesitation and recommend it to anyone.

Perfect solo beach getaway!

Located right across from the beach and near several nature preserves, very quiet and peaceful. Simple yet elegantly designed, with clean and comfortable rooms, a variety of outdoor patios, relaxing pool, delicious breakfast, easy parking, and wonderful hosts! Exactly the experience I was hoping for, including dolphins in the ocean at sunrise.

This was our second stay at The Cottage Inn, and we’re already planning to return next year! We stayed in Suite 5 and really enjoyed the direct access to the pool — such a great feature. The complimentary bicycles were a fun option and added to the overall experience. Although we didn’t use the beach chairs this time, it’s nice to have them available. Most of our time was spent relaxing by the pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Loved our beautiful suite and it was very clean! Loved having a view of the ocean...loved having access to complimentary nice big umbrella and chairs for beach...and loved the closeness and seemingly private use of a beautiful beach only steps away! One more thing the 2 restaruants we ate at for our dinner were both less than 1/2 mile-3/4 mile away! Our only dislike is we would have liked a little more of a variety complimentary breakfast as well as wish the time would be at least available from 8:00-10:00 a.m. instead of 8:30-10:30 a.m..other than that it is a beautiful well kept cozy inn and we had a wonderful time celebrating our 48th Wedding Anniversary!
