This was one of my worst experiences with a resort hotel. The fridge in room was very tiny,wasn’t even a freezer at top just a cooler. The trash bins was small as well. This hotel need to be updated like smaller star hotels that offer a lot more for your buck. What I felt was going to be a joyful vacation on the beach turn out to be one of the worst I had. Not many luggage carts available. The staff was helpful. The beach view from the lobby area was nice.

I had roaches in my room, the shower knob needed to be repaired (a gaping hole), and many of the floor tiles in the bathroom was cracked. The worst was I did not want to take a shower and the roaches in my room. However, I appreciated the front desk's service. She immediately moved me to another room and gave me a credit. This hotel is in a great location as the beach is right there and their event department is top notch! Nevertheless, I would choose another hotel next time because this hotel seriously needs to be renovated. I would throw an event here but not stay here again.

I was very happy with my stay at the Hilton Daytona. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. The maintenance crew arrived within 10 minutes after calling about a drainage issue with the tub. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
