I have stayed at this Hampton Inn for several years, typically stay twice a year during the late model races at Eldora Speedway. The staff has always been very friendly and nice, faces change, but the hospitality stays. The breakfast bar has always been clean, and well stocked. A fresh coat of paint could be used on bathroom doors that I have recently stayed in. I wouldn’t consider this hotel upscale at all, but would consider it clean in a safe location with a good employees.

I love how big the rooms are! The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. My kids loved the fact that there were strawberry waffles with whip cream and sprinkles!

The hotel is dated which has influenced my rating. The front staff were helpful in helping me make dining plans as there is no dining at the facility. What was most concerning - at breakfast two guests, a man and woman, came down from their room, crossed the lobby in full view of the staff member, inappropriately dressed (no shirt, no shoes, sleep wear) and walked into the food service area while other guests just stared. I understand that standards have slipped but no guest should ever leave their room without being properly clothed, especially to walk through a food service area. Gross!

I had a good stay at the Hampton Inn. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. Everything about the stay was enjoyable except for the breakfast, which was a bit disappointing and could definitely be improved. Other than that, it was a nice experience overall.
