We had no idea that this hotel is under renovation until we pulled up. The newly remodeled room was fine bit still needs tough up painting and a soap tray in the tub turned into shower. They have a lot of rooms to upgrade. Our (new) Serta mattress was way too soft for us but linens were nice. Pool was tarped over. Bkfst barely adequate. A small muffin, cereal and bagel. But- we only paid $60, so it was adequate.

The room was clean and newly remodeled, but looked as though it was done hastily. The dishasher was there but not hooked in. Some areas were not quite finished. The is a hot plate, microwave, fridge, ect but no cookware. The hotel is being actively remodeled, but common areas look rough. Parking was ok, hotel is conveniently located.

There’s a reason this place is inexpensive. It’s under major Renovations……everywhere. Expect to see dumpsters, piles of trash, fragments of glass in the yard & dirty carpet in the halls. I paid extra to be poolside - what pool? Never refund fed the extra money either. However, once you step into the rooms, they are updated with modern amenities, nice and clean. Beware - they do not care to comprehend the difference between a pet, an emotional support animal and a disability service dog. They charge $75 dollars regardless, require proof of registered service dog via email & several other Florida statue disability violations. Spend $10 more and go 10 miles further to Vacation Villa’s on Celebration lane.

Room was above average for this price level. However the common areas of the hotel seemed to be in a perpetual renovation. Things were in progress but gave the impression that they had been in progress for years as some of the things being renovated were again in need of renovation a second time before being completed the first time. The exterior of this hotel was still in pretty bad shape. However, 4.5 stars for a nice & clean room, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, good TV, and a decent price.

My room has been recently remodeled and was very nice except it does have a full shower with a glass enclosure but the problem is there’s no shelf whatsoever in the shower so you have to put the soap and the shampoo on the floor. I also asked for a first floor room when I booked the room because I am partially disabled and they have no elevators so it was terrible trying to get upstairs to the second floor. The staff was nice though and the price was very good.

The hotel is undergoing a major renovation which would have been nice to know when booking instead of a few hours before arriving. Fortunately, the rooms are done and ours was spacious and mostly new. Our only complaints are that the water flow in the bathroom sink was sputtery (possibly related to the construction?) and there was no soap /shampoo holder in the shower. For breakfast the food was under-stocked and the area under-served—Very disappointing.

The staff was very pleasant however, the room was just a one star. There was no garbage can in the room. The water didn’t come on a long time and when it did come on, it was brown. Then it took over an hour for it to get hot. I do understand it was cold outside at the breakfast buffet that noble beverage only coffee or milk the whole hotel is in desperate need of upkeep.
