“We had a wonderful weekend at the Wheatsheaf - everything from arrival to departure was just wonderful. The onsite parking in the middle of a town was very welcome. The staff on arrival were friendly and helpful and the room was clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished (thank you for the room upgrade). “I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here overall, but the experience was bookended by two entirely different worlds. Check-in on the afternoon of 18 August was an absolute breeze—the receptionist who assisted me was a proper professional, welcoming and efficient, setting a cracking first impression. Unfortunately, check-out on the morning of 19 August (around 10:00 a.m.) was an absolute shambles that completely derailed an otherwise brilliant stay, courtesy of the two older reception staff....
