Furniture and decor dated and dull even though only 29yrs old. It is a basic room but bed comfortable. Bathroom in need of refurbishment. Cleaning equipment lacking for dishes and toilet. I did not use swimming pool but looked ok. Manager at reception very helpful. His service was excellent. However, aircon and fan good, TV- no apps or livestream. Could not watch the rugby test. Would have at lest expected that for the price. Room serviced twice in that fresh towels brought in and tea/coffee but no cleaning provided during my 5 days. Location excellent for getting around and easy 1.1km walk to waterfront and convention centre. Local Woolworths and Coles within about 300-400m. Airport shuttle drop-off and pickup from across the road,
