Very convenient location across the road from shops and Parap market on Saturdays. Easy bus ride into the city. 5 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with adjoining studio - excellent, suited us very well.

We enjoyed our stay at Hudson Parap. It is conveniently located and easy to stay at. The decor in each room is modern and comfortable. There are great bakeries, cafes and restaurants at the small Parap shopping village across the road and of course, the Parap Markets. That said, it would have been good to have had a coffee pod machine in the room and some tea bags and sugar. Apart from plates and kitchen utensils, there was nothing provided for those families wanting to self cater - no oil, salt, pepper etc. We were also disappointed that the pool was so cold. It doesn’t get any direct sun during the day. Solar heating would be a good option to make it more usable.

Overall a nice stay. Pros: Helpful and courteous staff, nice rooms, nice cool swimming pool, within easy walking distance of an excellent breakfast place (Laneway Coffee - seriously, excellent place). Cons: Not really close to or within easy walking distance of Darwin proper. Not too many meal options that are open all the time. Opposite a school so getting out and around during dropoff/pickup times can be slow.

The room was spacious and well laid out. The kitchenette was perfect though while there was tea and coffee, there was no milk. The doors are quite noisy when they close even if you try to close them gently. This was disturbing late at night or early in the morning. Great location. Helpful and friendly staff.

Close to waterside park & central area but typical CBD edge: car rentals, scrappy shops, casino style eating, &c. Alright if you’re young, prob. and want to be close to the (somewhat seedy) action, but unattractive. Room had all amenities & was clean, but badly designed, pokey, and, for us, claustrophobic. Much better to stay in Parap or similar area.

Hudson Parap was the perfect for a longer stay in Darwin. Parap markets on Saturday, 10 minutes to everywhere. Staff were friendly and inviting swimming pool

Perfect location for our stay with easy access to shops and restaurants. The hotel was very clean with a nice pool and very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are perfect for a longer stay with a kitchen and full sized fridge. We walked to the Darwin Trailer Boat Club to watch a memorable sunset over dinner. Parap markets on Saturday are a must and just across the road from the hotel. Prickles Mexican Restaurant was great, very tasty food, reasonably priced and generous serves. So many attractions are within walking distance or very short uber ride. We will book here again when we go back to Darwin.

Historical photos adorn the walls of the lobby and second floor. Parap and Fannie Bay were early aviation hubs before 1974. Shower floors slippery with water. Easy walk to eating places in Parap Village Shopping Centre.

Very nice apartment. Clean and had all amenities we needed. Great kitchen and very handy to have a washing by machine and dryer in the apartment itself. We had an issue with one of the air conditioners one evening and it was promptly fixed the next morning. Friendly staff. Close to many Darwin attractions.
