All hotels in Darwin are extremely expensive at this time of year. We were very happy with the Hilton Garden inn. I loved its position across the road for the park and water. The room was extremely spacious and how nice to be able to open the balcony door for fresh air. Pool area is nice as is the lobby plus free parking. All the staff were extremely happy and helpful.

Great location and well sized rooms. The onsite restaurant Together has a well laid out breakfast buffet and has good offerings for lunch and dinner. Free to air TV was non existent during my stay and internet WIFI access was often unavailable.

Darwin Hilton Garden Inn

Front desk staff were excellent. However the cleaning staff were not great - bathroom and room were not cleaned properly. Cleaning was done haphazardly. Also had an issue with one of the wait staff in the restaurant who was extremely rude to me. If ever I go back to Darwin I would not choose this hotel

It was convienent for the tour we were taking as this was a pick up point. The room was clean but smelled strongly of men's cologne. The pool is a salt water pool and very cold. They had laundry facilities but the system of payment was very difficult to manage.

Bass Weekend

This hotel is our go to for a nice weekend break, we have stayed here a few times and as a young couple we have always felt welcomed and made to feel at home, We love that is in walking distance to everything and is the perfect choice for a big Bass in the Grass weekend, the breakfast buffet is always fresh, great choices and lovely staff, . This time we took advantage of the late checkout deal and it was so nice to just take our time and relax before we had to leave, Thank you for a great stay and we look forward to more great times spent with Hilton.

A small slice of heaven. Loved waking to ocean balcony views. Quite and only a 10-15 minute breezy scenic walk to main shops. Staff was super friendly and loved the daily clean service. Would definately stay here again

The rooms were beautiful and very welcoming the beds just a little small but ok pillows were unfortunately very uncomfortable and the carpets outside the rooms were a bit old and the beautiful veranda was not big enough to sit on with friends to enjoy the outstanding view but could easily be made bigger and safer. King beds would be nice but al all it was fantastic time and we loved the beautiful breakfast thank you

Disappointed with the Hilton brand!

Cancelled Mindil Beach Casino hotel because it is a very old hotel and bad reviews on dirty and outdated rooms. Booked Hilton Gardens Inn although old but thought it was refurbished. Wrong choice! I was rather disappointed that the toilet was not well maintained, toilet seat cover was off white, probably recycled, no full toiletries were provided; inconsistent service of room cleaning every day, etc. Definitely not my impression of a Hilton brand.
