“The property was ok for family's and travellers of 2 or more. The banister and carpet into restaurant needed a good clean due to little sticky fingers and feet. Hence we tried not to hold onto banister due to going to eat. The rooms did not have shower mats, although we asked if we could have one. But one couldn't be provided. “I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back.”

Massive issue , was the temperature of the rooms, It was stiflingly hot ,with all 3 nights of the stay the room temp was up to 38 degrees And when we approached reception, all we were offered was a 7” desk fan , (Not something you’d expect at over 200£ a night,) 2026 , Can’t believe there was no aircon”

“One night stay, room(plum porter) much bigger than photos , clean comfy and in keeping with the building. Staff very friendly, beer spot on food good. We didn't want breakfast as we were going for lunch, just. Suited us. Lovely little village, church peaceful, sound of the bells chiming, like going back in time. Nothing we didn't like, beautiful hanging baskets, beer terrace, a very popular, dog friendly pub, thanks.”
