I stayed 2 delightful nights at the Ivanhoe. Your managers couldnt have been more helpful and thoughtful. The old part of the hotel is far nicer than the new annex. I stayed in a cosy room ( Col Sir Younghusband )with a fireplace, surrounded by thoughts on who had graced these rooms in the past. A place with a lot of character and lovely staff. Home away from Home

Ivanhoe is a real gem in a crowded hotel market in Darjeeling. Takes you back to the British colonial Era. will always be my first choice at Darjeeling.

The friendliest welcome ever

We booked this hotel for its heritage and its connection to various historical figures. What we hadn't counted on was such a warm welcome. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, and when we were asked what we would like for breakfast on the evening before, we requested some things that weren't on their breakfast menu (We hadn't seen it at that point)and they went out and bought them specially. We honestly cannot wait to visit again.

ダージリンの中心地であるチョウラスターの裏手で3分ほどの距離にあり、ハッピー・バレー・ティーガーデンにも比較的近い立地にあります。 内装はまさに英国の別荘地のような雰囲気があり、それだけでも楽しい気持ちになれます。 また、チェックアウトの際にお水を2本頂けたり(この時偶々かもしれませんが)と、色々と親切にしていただきました。 日本人もよく泊まりに来るとのことなので、インドのホテルに慣れない日本人にとっても利用しやすいホテルかと思います。
