What made us laugh was the bed. You sat upon it, and it made a deep groan from the metal base. Hysterical! At the price point of the hotel, not surprising. The hotel is a great place to rest your head for an evening, and has a decent restaurant on premises. But the pool was not kept up as good as it could be, it needed cleaning. The room furniture had wear and tear, but was serviceable. Overall, acceptable for an overnight stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was really friendly and accommodated us well. The Cleaning Staff was Outstanding. The only Complaint I have was there was No Working In-Room Telephone.

I only gave two stars because the staff issued a refund quickly. Not that the lady was super nice the night we checked in. She seemed like she hated her job. We didn’t care it was a motel. We were tired. We weren’t expecting the ritz. We expected certain standards. But what we did NOT expect was to be punched in the face with a MASSIVE stench of dog urine. That’s the only way I can describe it. It was so bad. I almost threw up. When we went back to the front and told her we couldn’t stay here and why, it’s almost like she knew the rooms were bad.

The room was okay. My bedding was stained and the couch in the room had stains/dirty. Strong smell as well. Highly recommended they shampoo the carpet and sofa regularly. Also check the sheets often. Looked like blood stains were on ours.

Don't...just don't!

The stay lasted all of 5 minutes. Yes, it was a smoking room but there was no fire alarm/smoke detector in the room. The box springs were squeaky and the active railroad track has to be 75 yards away. I left. Conversely, the front desk clerk was nice & understanding. Hotels.com was amazing in helping to resolve this situation.
