The hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice. Costs more to stay here compared to other hotels in the area, but you get what you pay for. Staff was great and HIE breakfasts are always good.

Felt Like a VIP

We were in town for a college visit. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff at every shift was friendly and helpful. If we’re ever back in the area we will definitely stay here again!

Had to cancel due to weather conditions on the road for that (Saturday, Oct 11, 2025) and my health in relation to driving around 200 miles to a cookout at the church. As an Interim Pastor in the area, I was very disappointed in the lack of accommodation or adjustment for the cancellation. Not sure if I will use Holiday Inn Express in Danville VA again. Even Expedia was spoken negatively by the manager. Lack of respect and courtesy for the customer during the hazard weather conditions for travel. I am very upset and disappointed in losing an insured reservation. What the insurance fee for, decoration? Rev. Melvin

Im definitely staying there on my next trip. All rhe personel were nice and professional except for the girl who was in the morning shift, i asked here for the breakfast hrs and she was really rude for no reason, maybe she doesn't like her job IDK but other than that not complains ar all

I enjoyed being near the Dan River walkway, the nearby convenient shopping, the YMCA was very close, the free breakfast each morning, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
