Good value in a nice environment

Great atmosphere, decent room, food was good. As I had an early morning start, they packed a breakfast which was nice. Only downside was the a/c didn’t work very well so the room was too warm and they should upgrade their pillows. They were terrible.

This is a magnificent property. It is a little bit out of Sigirya. Which was fine with us. We had the option to dine in, which we did on two of our three nights here and the food was nice, it could have been a little spicier (I think they cater a little bit much for western tastes). Breakfast was fantastic, we didn’t need lunch. The staff were extremely helpful. This is one of the nicest properties I have stayed in.

Overrated and Overpriced

This guest house is overrated and overpriced for the quality. Its service was mediocre. The room cleanliness was bearable one but far below the level of the tourist hotel. Sigiriya Rock is not far though tuktuk from there required 3 times the normal price of taxi app.

Wir fahren mit dieser Unterkunft rundum zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren sehr lecker und vielfältig. Das einzige Manko war, dass während unseres Aufenthalts tagsüber Bauarbeiten am Hotel stattgefunden haben, aber das wird sicherlich nicht mehr von allzu langer Dauer sein, bis diese fertiggestellt sind.

Gem of a place

Stayed 2 nights and was excellent value for money. Wecome drinks on arrival. All staff were very pleasant and helpful, and knowledeable about the surrounding area. Room had everything you need for a short stay. Comfortable bed, mosquito nets, A/C, complimentary water, electric mosquito plug-in (needed because with so much greenery around there were plenty mossies), hot water in shower. Lovely and decent sized pool - a great boon given the hot weather. Not a very extensive restaurant menu but sufficient for a short stay and food was well prepared and tasty. Good breakfast too. There are a few bars and eating places about 1km walking distance. I would recommend this place and would stay again if in the area.
