Hand surgery

This is my go to hotel when I’m in that area. The staff were amazing. Had to move me because the air conditioner wasn’t working. Was upgraded to two bedroom two bath. I was disappointed that there wasn’t any food at the Express Mart. There was only Cheerios for breakfast. So no breakfast basically. I don’t know if they’ve changed hands or I caught them at a bad time.

The room was clean and the area was close to restaurants and stores. I didn’t like that we weren’t able to get clean towels when we needed them. We had to go out and buy towels during our stay.

Basic hotel for the money

Not a bad facility. Room layout was good. Had a two room suite with each having a bathroom, kitchenette, living area with a desk and dining table. A TV in each room was nice. Seems a little dated/old, but functional. Found a couple of mini-roaches walking around. Grounds also seemed a little lacking in upkeep. Breakfast was very basic. Waffles and oatmeal with coffee, milk and juice.

Only had one towel in the bathroom no bath soap no shampoo no face tissue air conditioner was not working thank God the weather was nice in Dallas slept with window and balcony open so I could sleep comfortably. Breakfast was joke. Friday was hot so n my room that I slept at work

It was good for the price, a lot of space and the room was clean and staff very friendly. The area leading up to the room smelled like pee and in the room the tvs need and upgrade (seemed early 2000s tvs), the curtain had a huge hole ripped into it, and they didn't refill the shampoo or body wash. I'd recommend it though for an affordable stay.

I usually really like staying at a Sonesta property. This is not a great property. However, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The outside was trashy! The water pressure was lame. The linens were stained and dingy. The first room they gave me had a broken tv and the microwave was in parts on top of the stove.

I liked that the location was close to a grocery store and excellent pizza, coffee shop, and Tex-Mex. I did not like the fact that the HVAC system did not cool down the room, or the blood on the pillow cases. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice.

The staff were nice and friendly. I let them know about the horribly stained pull out sofa mattress that needed to be replaced, they changed it with a not so stained one. The breakfast needs to be upgraded to at least look like the advertised picture. There was a tub of country crock butter and a jar of jelly. No oatmeal, no fruit, no yogurt, no tea, no pastries. I’m an avid traveler and there are some things that are expected at hotels when breakfast is advertised. A deep cleaning in the carpeted area with the seats and tvs is needed. The sleeper sofa mattresses need to be replace with NEW ones asap. They are disgusting. There were several huge urine stains, and possibly blood stains on the one in our room. I understand that this place is residence for some people, but for those who are just stopping by need to feel like it’s an oasis. If my daughter and her family didn’t have little ones and a ton of stuff on hand while waiting for their apartment to be ready, I would have moved us after the first night. They were exhausted from traveling to relocate and just dealt with it. I hope the owner does a deep cleaning and makes necessary adjustments for future patrons. Currently, I don’t recommend. The staff were nice, helpful, and friendly.

I didn’t realize it was an apartment. I was renting completely furnished with a separate bedroom and living room. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Carpets in the room were a little dated and worn, but other than that it was an amazing place to stay

Bordering on mediocre at best…

I’ll start by saying that the staff was very nice and accommodating and this place is good if you’re desperate (it’s safe, etc), but maintenance and cleanliness are SERIOUSLY lacking here. The pics are definitely not representative of the rooms. Also, housekeeping only came by once in my 3 week stay and asking for towels and/or bedding was weird.

The staff are doing their best and very friendly, housekeeping is trying hard too but... it could actually be quite nice except this property has SERIOUS maintenance issues. My first room had leaky pipes, after a shower the entire bedroom carpet was soaked. They quickly moved me to another room except neither of the TVs worked, the kitchen sink wouldn't drain and there was no hot water.

Excellent front desk staff - John, Yessi, - all of them. I liked the location of the hotel. It is convenient to the highway and has a gas station, grocery store, and restaurants across the street. The size of the room and balcony were perfect. The carpet and appliances are a bit dated but were clean. The exterior areas were not very clean. There were cigarette buds and some litter on the outside stairs.

Mildew and Marijuana

Upon arriving in the lobby a strong scent of mold was detected. The a manager, who checked us in, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and nice. Once we got on the elevator it sounded like one of the cables broke. Thankfully, it didn't! Bur as the elevator doors opened the very very strong smell of marijuana filled the elevator. We walked out of the building to our building, and once we were in that room, it smelled of mildew as well. We went down to the pool (which was green and dirty) to find it was closed. (That was one of the main reasons we booked there). I did not feel comfortable with my young children staying in the hotel with the scent of marijuana and mildew that I advised the Manager, I wanted to stay somewhere else and requested a refund.The manager quickly gave me the refund, and we went on our way.
