Good:
1. Apartment looks exactly like the web photos and everything is brand new!
2. Interior is clean, cosy and design is aesthetically pleasing. Roof top terrace offers a terrific 360-degree view of the surrounding, with distant views of mountains/sea
3. Extra perks like free laundry detergent, fabric softener, bottled water and toothbrush are available from reception. Also provides basic cutleries, crockery, pot/pan, single induction stove, dish washing liquid, hairdryer, shampoo+ shower cream, bath towels, rubber slippers and plenty of clothes hangers
4. Ivan (limited hours' reception) is friendly and building/room access is by digital locks (just remember the codes - access card is not needed)
Not good:
1. Located in an old residential area – great if you want to experience Vietnamese daily lifestyle and far from horde of tourists but not great if you’re keener on lively city-beach vacation vibes/plenty of diverse dining choices
2. The vicinity is somewhat drab and a very busy restaurant (not associated with the apartment) seems to have nightly barbeque just beside the apartment building’s main entrance. There’s also a small building construction nearby (back of the apartment) currently. Keep all windows shut to keep out noise and smoke!
3. Beach can be reached in less than 10 minutes on foot. However, this stretch of beach is not as clean (some local fishermen work here) compared to the area further south (where the majority of hotels/restaurants are)
