I chose Sea Queen Hotel Da Nang based on the listing and reviews on Expedia, which made the hotel appear welcoming and professional. Unfortunately, the actual experience was very disappointing.
The main issue was the unfriendly and rude behavior of the staff, especially the kitchen/breakfast attendant. During breakfast, the staff member was impatient, unwelcoming, and spoke in a rude tone. It felt uncomfortable and completely lacking in basic hospitality. Simple interactions felt like an inconvenience to them.
Because this hotel was promoted positively on Expedia, my expectations were much higher. Sadly, the staff attitude—particularly in the breakfast area—did not match what was advertised or expected from a hotel listed on a major booking platform.
Management seriously needs to improve staff training, especially for guest-facing roles. I would not recommend this hotel unless service standards improve significantly.
