Absolutely sensational. This is close to as good as a resort gets if you’re after something very personalized, peaceful and quiet, tasteful luxury. We came for two nights as a couple… we spent most days at the resort and nights exploring Hoi An. Three nights would have been the ideal length but there is always next time. Staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble, and the spa a phenomenal. Thoroughly recommend. And we’ll be back.

Everything was nearly perfect. Fresh breakfast, various activities, beautiful scenery, relaxing spa and yoga, angel-like hosts(special shoutout to our host, miss Thao). Thanks to all of them, our babymoon journey was completed only with great memories. They compensated little setbacks with their kindness, always prepared better options for us. Definitely, we'll visit again in the near future.

I visited this resort with my friend of 17 years. She was happy every single moment, and so was I. All the food was excellent, and every detail of the service was thoughtful and attentive. I highly recommend the yoga class and the sunset cruise. And thanks to Quynh, who took care of us throughout our stay, we felt even more comfortable and safe. If I come back to Hoi An again, I would definitely choose this resort again. However, depending on your travel style, the resort’s location might feel a bit inconvenient to some. For me, though, the location was perfect. It is truly a peaceful retreat in every sense.

This was a real retreat from the hot street of beautiful Hoi An. The spa treatments were superb and the staff made sure I was content at all times. Loved riding the bamboo bike around the property - and make sure to have the ceviche in the restaurant!

The villa offered a truly luxurious experience during my 4-day stay. The modern and chic interior design was a visual treat, especially the unique fusion with traditional Vietnamese elements. Amazing - hidden gem

This resort is amazing! Probably one the best resort we have stayed at. The service is fantastic and the staff goes the mile for you. We loved our two bedroom villa with our private pool! The architecture is stunning and fit naturally with the environment around. The spa is included in the package price like all activities on the resort. The treatments was so good and beautiful prepared. The resort have convenient shuttle service to the old town and to the beach. This a hidden gem! Thanks for a wonderful stay Thảo and Duy, we will definitely come back!

Amazing premium boutique hotel

This is a new hotel and really stunning. Amazing design and styling. The all inclusive spa treatments every day are great (but we didnt use all of ours). It was quiet when we stayed (not sure because of timing or newness) and which meant it lacked a little bit of atmosphere. There are 2 restaurants which served a lovely breakfast but after 4 nights (inc 1 eating out) we were struggling a bit with choice. It almost feels as though this is the soft opening and they are still making some tweaks.

The room was beautifully designed and absolutely spotless, creating a calm, luxurious atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredible—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every part of our stay perfect. The amenities were exceptional, but the real highlights were the experiences. The spa service was the best my wife and I have ever had—deeply relaxing, expertly delivered, and truly world-class. We also enjoyed the best dining experience we had in all of Vietnam; every dish was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. Another great touch was the availability of pedal bikes, which made exploring the area fun and effortless. Namia River Retreat exceeded our expectations in every possible way. We left feeling refreshed, well cared for, and already planning our return. Highly recommended.

This resort has quickly become one of my absolute favorite places on earth – I’ve stayed at many wellness retreats, but none have matched the level of genuine hospitality and thoughtful care here. From the moment I arrived, the host and staff made me feel truly welcomed and looked after. Their attention to detail is remarkable – little touches that show how much they genuinely care about your experience. It’s the kind of place where the team goes above and beyond, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere that makes such a huge difference. The food was outstanding – everything prepared with incredibly fresh ingredients that tasted vibrant and nourishing. Meals felt like a highlight of each day, perfectly complementing the wellness focus. I loved the yoga sessions; the instructor is truly passionate and deeply knowledgeable, guiding classes with expertise and enthusiasm that elevated the whole experience. The herbal steam therapy was incredibly relaxing – a soothing, rejuvenating ritual that melted away any tension. The massage was solid (though perhaps not the standout for me personally), but overall, the spa offerings were excellent. What impressed me most was how impeccably well-maintained the property is, with a strong commitment to sustainability that feels authentic and integrated into everything. Best hotel in Hoi An

My wife, our 13-year-old son and I stayed at Namia for 3 nights at the end of January 2025. We couldn't have had a better experience. We stayed in a family room facing the river, which is absolutely beautiful. There are two bedrooms, which guarantees total privacy, as well as a pleasant living room and a beautiful infinity pool. The food is very good and I recommend at least getting half board, as it is worth it. We liked both restaurants and the caring and impeccable service. The spa is magnificent. We had the best massages of our lives there. It is a unique experience that I recommend to everyone. The 90 minutes are very well used to provide a lot of relaxation for all guests. We did some tours and loved them. The Vespa tour is lively and takes you to places far beyond the touristy ones. It was one of the best moments of our trip, full of culture and information. The cocktail tour was also incredible. Initially we thought that 4 hours would be too long, but in the end we realized that it was not enough, since each place was different from the other, and our guide was perfect. It was a wonderful opportunity to get to know the center of Hoi An, but away from the crowds. The sunset boat trip, offered by Namia himself, is also a must. With delicious cocktails and canapés, it offers a unique view of the city. We couldn't have chosen better. Namia will be missed, and we hope to one day be able to return to this wonderful hotel.

Nice resort if you want relatively quiet place to rest and recharge, especially if you get the villa facing the river. Daily spa services is good … quality of massage varies depending on masseurs but generally pretty good. Strong hands. The Merchant cruise was a nice experience.
