This property is very old. WIFI is very week. I lost connection most of time even i tried to move closer to reception area. They charged 100k VND extra because the tower dropped on the floor. They have good service for food. Waitress is kind, and polite,

Good Price point and great location BUT… Cockroaches and being “Shaken Down” at check out for “Dirty towels” ( I’m a clean freak) and charged for “Extra Waters” …. Left a bad taste in my mouth….. Would not stay there again ….. when I mentioned they were not being fair with the extra charges they threatened to call police …

We upgraded to an ocean facing room that had a separate living room and it was excellent. Very elegantly decorated with dark wood floors and furniture. Huge deck you can watch the sunrise on and relax in the evenings. The breakfast is traditional Vietnamese only. No fresh fruit or eggs but delicious soup and coffee. Staff was very kind and happy. Location could not be better! We enjoyed our stay!

The view was awesome! The age of the hotel is very interesting however, compared to the more recent places, it showed the age. The beds were old and hard. The showers lacked curtains. From a western standard it was below, but the price reflected that. Otherwise the staff was very friendly nd the location is great!

Nice enough hotel. The location is great if you want easy access to My Khe beach. The room.was fine, large but a bit run down. I'm not sure the TV worked, and one plug socket looked broken and detached from the wall. The listing said there was a bar but when I arrived they did not have a bar. Apart from that it was fine and the staff were nice. They also provide breakfast (noodle meat broth and quite tasty). Good place if travellimg on a budget.

This property offers a spacious room with a pleasant beach view, and its location just across the road from the beach is very convenient. It’s an excellent spot for swimming, morning jogs, and relaxing while enjoying beautiful sunrises each day. Breakfast provided by the hotel is simple; however, this is easily balanced by the wide variety of nearby restaurants and dining options, making it convenient for guests who enjoy exploring local food choices. The bed could be more comfortable, the hot water in the shower is not always consistent, and the room can be noisy due to the busy road in front. That said, these were minor inconveniences and did not significantly affect the overall quality of my stay. The staff are polite and helpful, which greatly contributed to a positive and welcoming experience. As a traveler who prefers spending time outdoors rather than staying inside the room, this accommodation suited my needs very well. Considering the excellent beachfront location and the affordable price, it offers great value and is a place I would happily choose again.

Clean room, nice staff, location was great. No view from my room which I thought I was getting based in the listing. This property is almost exactly as it was in 1967. The only upgrades are a mini split, wifi and a TV in the room. The included breadfast is basically survival food. The room rate reflects what you get. The bed is a platform with a 4 inch mattress. The bathroom has a tub and shower wand. No curtain. Basically, you get a convenient location, a clean room with a ceiling and running water. If you're looking for a place to sleep without spending much and you want to know what it was like to be a GI on leave in 1970, this will work for you. That's about it.

If you are looking for an affordable beachfront stay in Da Nang, I highly recommend this hotel. It is operated by a local government branch, so the price is very competitive and the service is top-notch. While the rooms are a bit dated, that didn’t bother me. I loved having direct beach access, a secure environment, and a beautiful view of the sunrise over the ocean every morning. Because the building is older, the furniture feels like it's from another era, but everything is functional. The bed isn't the most luxurious, but it was good enough for me. One thing to note: the power outlets might be a challenge for travelers from the US needing to charge laptops, but I’m sure the front desk can assist you with an adapter. I should also mention that free breakfast is included. It’s not a buffet; instead, you can choose between eggs and a baguette or the soup of the day, served with coffee. I enjoyed my stay so much that I’ve already rebooked it for after my trip to Ho Chi Minh City!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Stay Made Special by Incredible People My stay at My Khe Beach Hotel in Da Nang turned into one of the most pleasant hotel experiences I’ve had — largely because of the amazing staff. When I first arrived, I was greeted by Ms. Suong at reception. After my first night, I asked about changing rooms, and she went far beyond what I would ever expect from customer service. She handled my request with kindness, patience, and professionalism, personally ensuring everything was taken care of. What could have been a small concern quickly turned into a wonderful experience because of her care and attention. The entire front desk team is exceptional. During the busy Chinese Lunar New Year period, I had a stressful situation with a malfunctioning ATM machine. The staff genuinely stepped in to help me find a solution so I could access funds. Their willingness to help during a difficult moment meant more than I can properly express — I am truly grateful. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location is perfect — only a short walk to Da Nang Beach, yet set back far enough from the main road to remain quiet and relaxing. It really is a 10/10 location. What stands out most about this hotel is the people. They turned what could have been an average stay into a memorable one through genuine hospitality and care. I fully plan to return next year and sincerely hope to see the same wonderful team again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Da Nang.

This place is a charming older hotel that was clearly well built, though it could use some minor maintenance — for example, the closet creaked when opened. Since we mainly used the room for sleep, it worked perfectly for us. The location was unbeatable, right across from the beach, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were super nice and accommodating throughout, making us feel welcome at every turn. The highlight was definitely the restaurant — the food was spectacular and surprisingly affordable. Overall, a pleasant stay with great service and an excellent location.
