The Royal was a lovely hotel in an excellent area. The staff kind and extremely helpful, even walking us through a recipe for a drink we loved and providing us with plenty of the key ingredient to take home with us! Highly recommend their spa, also.

Great customer service. Breakfast buffet was delicious, so many choices to choose from. Check in was smooth and they gave me a nice cold tea and wet towel to clean my hands with.

Our stay at this hotel was fabulous. Customer service like most of Vietnam is on point. The staff at this hotel are very friendly and accommodating. Our only suggestion to the hotel is the doors to the rooms when closing are incredibly loud. They would benefit from soft closing doors or reminding guests to close door quietly when entering/exiting. Other than that, this is a wonderful hotel in a fabulous location

They will still charge for breakfast

Nice hotel, beautiful rooms. I booked three rooms with breakfast, was still charged for breakfast. No way to fix this, about $80 per day extra charge. Don’t know if it’s the app or the hotel that’s wrong.

Communication difficulties

It was difficult to communicate with the staff. Unfortunately, I cannot speak Vietnamese. I wish I could speak to have more comfortable stay. They cannot speak English well.

We had a nice room with a river and pool view. It was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom amenities were not the greatest but they were ok and they were clean. The staff was very helpful during the check in. Breakfast buffet was good. Restaurant staff’s clothes and furniture often had stains from food - not a sanitary look one would hope to see in an “luxurious” hotel. The service in the restaurant during breakfast was ok although not the greatest. Everyone seemed to be rushed. My husband swam in the pool and got sick afterwards so this is really not good. Quite a few things/amenities in the hotel look run down. Again, mostly ok but cannot be called luxurious. An ok stay but not as great as we hoped it to be.
