“A friendly welcome to the property. Although nowhere in the village to eat in the evening, we were recommended a restaurant 5 minute drive away in Corwen. Straightforward continental breakfast in the morning available. As the pub shut at 10pm, there was no late night noise so enjoyed a good night's sleep. A great base for exploring the area.”

“I have mixed feelings about this place. I booked our room according to the photos shown on Expedia but when we arrived we have got a completely different kind of room. Next morning i have asked if any chance to give a room i have seen on the booking platform and they have granted us a better room but the bed was so old and it was so loud with every turn or little movement. “Interior del hotel muy bien decorado. Habitación amplia (7), cómoda y calentita. En el cuarto de baño había un problema de evacuación del agua de la ducha. Punto negativo, la manera de recibir ha sido un poco impersonal y hemos tenido que pagar todo con antelación cuando hemos llegado. Personal del desayuno muy simpático, muchas gracias a ella por sus sonrisas y su ayuda. Desayuno muy bueno y completo.”

“A charming little pub with rooms. Overall the pub is well kept but the rooms could definetly use some tlc. Our room had a big damp spot on the roof and the curtain rod was hanging of the windowseal .. lamps were dusty as were the bedside tables. But other than a few cosmetic issues it was an okay stay for the price!”
