The cabin has a great rustic feel, plenty of space for our group, and a peaceful, private location. We really enjoyed the authentic log cabin atmosphere. The downsides: No A/C or WiFi. While the listing doesn’t advertise A/C or Wi-Fi, it would be helpful if it clearly stated that neither is available. The upstairs loft also gets quite warm after hot summer days. The cabin could have been much cleaner—we found numerous cobwebs, spiders, dead and living moths, old kitchen towels and washcloths. The well water also has a very strong iron smell and taste that made it unpleasant to drink.

Beautiful family cabin

We visited the Custer area with a family of seven from ages 5 to 75. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The cabin was immaculate, beautifully decorated and we all slept quite comfortably. Pat and John are great hosts!
