The staff was helpful with small requests like changing bills, providing to go cups for a quick departure, arranging shuttle service back to the airport. A couple of downsides, but definitely not major for us, the AC was not navigable and didn’t have a remote control. There was no bottled water in the room, but we were able to purchase some in the lobby. Overall, this place did the job and was a great value

Incredible place to stay. Close to everything in Cusco and the staff are top tier from reception to the cleaners. Just remember if you dont want your clothes and luggage reorganised while your away, leave a friendly note.

Due to some flight delays, we had less time in the hotel than we had planned; however, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They worked hard to make our experience enjoyable. The pick up from the airport during the night gave us so much peace of mind and the “bag breakfast” (since we were missing the continental one) was spectacular. The hotel itself was beautiful and we wound up wishing we had had more time there. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Great value, service and location

Great little hotel, a true gem. Loved the ambiance, the location near Qorikancha and easy access to the main attractions in Cusco. The staff were great and accommodating and did a fantastic job of handling our transportation and luggage storage needs. Really top notch service. Breakfast was also great. Beds were comfortable but a little noisy.

Overall nice stay. Staff is friendly and helpful but need to update that transportation to the airport is not free. Only coming to the hotel is covered by the hotel.. return trip- they will coordinate but you must pay the driver.

Charming place with great location and staff

Really loved the old building and option to have the generous breakfast (best of any of my Peru hotels) in the courtyard. Bed was comfortable, heating effective and water pressure good. Staff always easy to find and eager to help. Entry down a laneway so no parking directly outside (but only a very short walk from the nearest drop off point), and convenient to walk to most Cusco city sights.

Super cute tambo!! Staff (John in particular) was so helpful. Breakfast each morning, coca tea all day long, safe, great location….. we really enjoyed our trip to Cuzco!! So many beautiful things to see and do!!

The hotel is very authentic. That we sure loved. The problem for us where the very steep staircase and our room was small. Especially the bathroom. Barreling space turn around. Other then that we liked the hotel.

The gentleman at the front desk helped us with EVERYTHING, from storing our bags when we went to Machupicchu, to breakfast, to late night pizza ordering. The establishment was clean, and we felt safe. Amazing building with Incan wall base, with colonial upper. Unique and special.

Cozy place

We were a group of 8 & found this place to be very cozy and it felt like a home rather than hotel. The rooms surround the courtyard which in the morning is so sunny & warm; the perfect place to relax before a busy tourist day. The rooms we had were all lovely and quiet as the hotel sits off of a busy street. The staff booked dinners for us, they set up drivers for us, they couldn't do enough for us. They even had breakfast ready for us when we had a very earlier pick up to start the Inca Trail. Overall it was a great experience & we will definitely refer and hopefully get back for another stay!

Interesting hotel in a historic building and at a convenient location. 10min walk to the main square. Very friendly staff. Room is spacious and mostly comfortable. A few caveats: 1) breakfast should start at 6am but not ready until 6:30. 2) hot water is not 24/7, outside of evening/morning hours need to ask staff. 3) floor creaks badly, can hear neighbors if they walk in middle of night.

Lovely stay, can’t wait to come back!

Lovely! Recommended by a friend so we booked. From the moment we arrived in Cusco and called the hotel from the Tourism booth at the airport (the man working there was so nice/helped us call), they sent us a taxi, the staff was most accommodating and friendly and to our benefit, everyone spoke perfect English but of course, were patient with us when we tried to use our Spanish! I had a small medical emergency and that on-site staff in the evening called a doctor me. He was so fast in taking action to help I felt very safe and cared for. We were also able to store our luggage there after check out and they let us hang out in the garden/patio area and use their facilities; again the staff is friendly and accommodating it really made us feel comfortable and happy. Breakfast is amazing, so many fresh fruits, cheeses, ham, bread, yogurt, cereal. They also always have tea and coca leaves for altitude sickness. The hotel is also in a great area; you’re in walking distance of so many pleases to eat, ATMs, markets, pharmacies, etc. They also have a very inexpensive laundry service that you can drop off in the morning and get back by evening. No scented soaps, clothes came back folded and fresh and neatly sealed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if back in Cusco. One tiny thing - the floors are bit creaky as the building is older so if you are very sensitive to sound, bring ear plugs. We had a very quiet stay but this is just a reality of the centro historico!

Airport Transfer is Misleading (no return)

Most of the stay was fantastic. Although, the included airport transfer service is misleading. If you manage to reach them (the phone, messenger, and social app contacts never responded.) They did eventually respond via email. But, they don’t provided the included airport transfer for you departure. They can call and schedule you a taxi, but when you get to the airport you find they don’t cover the return to the airport. You have to cover the taxi expenses yourself.

We stayed here for our first night in Peru and we loved the quiet, serene feel of our room. Very clean and comfortable and beautiful with a historical charm that made this one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. We loved the delicious breakfast and eating in the beautiful courtyard. The hotel has a lot of character. The entrance is an original Inka stone entrance, with very old Spanish additions. This does mean that the floors are creaking and you may hear the people in adjacent rooms. The great benefits of the hotel are its charm, its history, great value and, importantly, it’s close to everything as it’s in the ancient part of Cusco. Furthermore, the staff is super nice and friendly.
