Even though our Wotif booking was made 3mnths in advance and paid for, the Motel had never received the booking or the funds. Being a rural and isolated town, the motel owners went above and beyond and arranged for us to stay in a nearby house at no charge. Such amazing service.

Expedia travellers need to be carefully because the motel DOES NOT do bookings through Expedia. Had to quickly find alternative accomation. I contacted Expedia and will be getting full refund

Coffee cups not clean, one of the units had no light bulbs in the beside lamps, aircons not clean smelt terrible, bbq not clean and disgusting. Water bottle in fridge 1/2 full, one towel rail broken in the bathroom.

Upon arrival we were told that the third party booking we had made and prepaid a month earlier was not valid, however we could have the room for $45 more than the booked price and we would need to pay again as the earlier booking was invalid. It was up to us to recover our money from the booking website. Apparently this was an issue the hotel knew about for 5 weeks and had still not sorted out with the booking website. We stayed as our next hotel could not receive us the night earlier. The bathroom was very small. No tissues or hairdryer in the room. Not very clean and in need of repair. Do not recommend!
