I cannot rate the staff at this hotel more. I've travelled for work for years and I've never had better service at a hotel. The team at the Dumfries Arms were exceptional. I can't fault them. My husband and I had a fantastic two night stay, the food at the restaurant was delicious and catered well for my gluten intolerance.

Parking is free and is just behind the hotel.There is some seating outside that would be nice to use in warmer weather.I loved the entry and staircase both very stylish.Check in was quick with a lovely friendly team member,our room was comfortable,everything was clean and in good condition.The restaurant was nicely decorated,staff were friendly and attentive.We dined from the special Friday evening menu,all food was delicious. We had coffee and drinks in the bar area,settees were comfortable and decor was lovely,it felt cosy and relaxed.Amazing selection of whiskey and the bartender was helpful and knowledgeable to help make a decision on which one to try.Breakfast team again were efficient and friendly and we loved the made to order breakfast which was piping hot.We had a great stay and i would absolutely return and reccomend
