“A wonderful little find. All the extra touches were exceptional - I felt pampered.”

“It was really good value for money. The staff, party the young man on reception, were friendly and helpful. As a grade 2 listed building the property is showing signs of age and the floors were very creaky. The room was a good size , clean and the bed was really comfortable. The location is brilliant with excellent views from the room. Very close to the station, Citadel and all local amenities. Overall would be happy to stay there again.”

“I actually didnt stay at the place i drove home,it was dirty,mouldy,carpet was filthy,the decoration looked like it hadnt been done for years.holes in the walls where brackets had been,smelt of damp,wobbly toilet seat.i sat on the bed a while and started itching.i then decided to drive home.the whole place needs refurbing”

“I liked the set up and the amenities even though I didn’t stay long enough to use them, knowing there was a pool on site and a gym will definitely help me decide to book here again. The pub opened late which was great . And the breakfast had lots of options which is always good. All in all a wonderful stay .”

“Lost my money on this "hotel' which is more like a cheap boarding house. We were shown to the tiny bedroom and on sitting on the bed there were all sorts of creaks and groans. We decided there and then to leave and sorted out a nearby hotel, which was much better and did have proper car parking facilities.”
