What we liked was the cleanliness of the property and rooms. What we didn't like was the horrible odor in our room. We went and got the manager on duty and she said all rooms smells like that. She went and got a can of air freshener and sprayed it all around and in the ac unit. Helped some but triggered my asthma.

The room was very clean and the staff were friendly. It was a great value for the money. I would have given it 5 stars, but the breakfast was a bit slim just waffles and some cereal and bread, so we went out for breakfast.

The other reviews I read here were overly harsh. This is definitely a mom and pop - type hotel, and it's run that way. You'll see all the shortcuts they took, but its inexpensive and convienient to Hartselle, and the staff was friendly and accessible.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at over the last 5years walkin shower was great with a hand held shower wand and a seat with a back. perfect for my disable wife. Will stay here again in the coming months.The staff was excellent plenty of breakfast options, and the room was clean with a nice fresh scent

Room had plaster damage that was repaired but not painted. Repair around shower fill that was done poorly. Burn hole in cover on bed although non smoking room. Room was clean overall. I would stay there again as room issues were minor.
