Vacations Close To Crystal River

Clean, hot showers with good pressure, efficient, friendly staff, nice hot and cold breakfast selections, air conditioner set at the perfect temperature at a very reasonable price. Nothing fancy, but everything you need for a comfortable overnight stay!

Good clean hotel. Need a basic place to stay for a couple of nights. Only complaint was lack of lighting in the sink area.

Check in was easy and uneventful. However, upon entering our room we immediately detected an odor in the room. The room was very dirty in appearance and had what appeared to be mold stains on the shower curtain and on the window curtains. The mini fridge had stains inside with broken racks. The office chair in the also appeared to have unknown stains on the seat pad. The gym was completely unusable and appeared to have only two machines from the 1990s inside a small room. Breakfast (at the time we arrived approx 7am) contained only cereal and packets of oatmeal. No coffee was available and a mini fridge which I assumed possibly had yogurt or water at one point was completely empty.

Did pay extra for room with a fireplace, but did not use because it was not an electric one and wood had to be purchased.

This building is super old and it shows it age - i will say the actual room looked slightly better - but carpet was dirty and didn’t give you that clean feeling you want from a hotel. The shower didn’t drain from. the start - so you feet were covered in water the whole time and it was super small. The pool was overloaded - i’m not even sure if many were hotel guests. Found homeless people sleeping in a car in the parking lot. Definitely no where i would suggest to anyone - unless nothing else was around. I should have known better as i got a decent price (though there were others cheaper around) - but somehow had a decent rating in hotel.com
