“We booked the Four Season for a mini-moon and arrived the day after our wedding to be greeted by a spectacular view of a country house on top of a hill. The wonderful valet and reception staff warmly welcomed us and showed us to our (upgraded) room which was spectacular- and had flowers and chocolate congratulating us on our marriage. “Room was clean, bed comfortable, easy to find and breakfast was nice! It was fine for one night, but there was an awful smell from the shower. The drain looked clean but unfortunately we had to sleep with the bathroom door closed and windows open! We also waited 15 mins for someone to check us in. On checkout when mentioning the smell, we were told there were known issues but no apology. At £180/night it was definitely overpriced!”
