The room was basic, which would have been fine had it not been let down by poor house keeping. Beds and towels were changed and that was it. “The room was lovely. Room 5. It had a refurbishment. It was like staying in a country cottage. It was very clean. Tea/coffee making facilities. Good selection of breakfast you could have. Full english was very tasty. The staff were polite. The bar was a bit pricey along with the food.”

“The room was clean and tidy, staff were pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and varied. The only drawback for us was the lack of a cooked breakfast. I didn't like the continental offering, There was however a fridge in the room. We took our dog with us for which we paid 35 pounds there was nothing provided for the dog”

“Rooms were clean, staff helpful and, in short, excellent. In house WiFi was weak and intermittent. The rooms looked a little tired but not scruffy. Plenty of parking (except on entertainment night. This wasn't to my taste but was very popular with the larger audience) but there is ample street parking and the road is not busy. Here is an ancient lift which worked faultlessly!”
