Great location and clean, staying in the family room in the loft which was small in height and had no shower, just a bath tub and shower hose at bath height due to the height of the room. The room in the loft was so hot in the summer and felt very cramped. Sunday dinner downstairs was very good.

This was our first time back in over a year since under new management. We had the most lovely breakfast hamper in our room of yogurts , fruit ,museli , fresh milk , honey with tea coffee chocolate & juices. This was so much better for us personally as did not have to rush up to go down to breakfast in the morning giving us a much more relaxed approach to the day ahead . It was replenished if you put your sign on door next morning. I much preferred the layout of the bar area tables & chairs in the pub , and decorated tastefully Halloween . We booked a table in the restaurant for the evening and the food did not disappoint. Both hubby & I had the plentiful rump steak which was cooked on the grill to perfection . A short walk to Runton beach via public footpath from road . Can’t wait to come back loved our stay 10/10 !

The whole place feels really welcoming: staff, restaurant, bar, patrons and the bedroom. The room was very spacious and clean, breakfast was delicious and dinner was amazing. The only complaint is that we only had one day to stay here! It definitely deserves coming back to.

Ideal place for a one night stop, although it is looking a bit tired it was very clean and tidy and the staff were very courteous. The food that we had was also very good. These comments would not necessarily stop us from staying there again.

No water

No hot water and on one morning no water at all. Not enough storage for clothes in the family rooms. Staff friendly but not happy with tbe facilities
