Excellent stay at Oglivy House

The property was clean and comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Close to the shops, bars and restaurants of Cromer. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the host Henry was charming. Breakfast was delicious and was served very quickly. The building site next door was not very scenic but once the neighbouring renovation is complete this will be resolved. A very pleasant stay .

Very nice stay

My stay was comfortable, but due to regulations, the windows could only open 6 inches. I came on the hottest weekend of the year and the room was 25 degrees at night without a breeze. I have suggested a fan for such nights in the future. This was a lovely stay and Richard is very helpful. I can recomment this B&B to anyone who is looking for a close to the centre/beach holiday in Cromer. I would hope to return again. Thank you Richard.

An amazing B&B

What a fantastic B&B, without doubt made our stay so comfortable and easy. Richard made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, our room (Harrison) was large, quiet at night, had a comfy bed and a great ensuite. Breakfast is outstanding, great quality food cooked perfectly. If that wasn’t enough it’s a simple 10 min walk into town. Would definitely recommend and happily stay there again.

Cromer happy

Lovely B&B break for two nights. Couldn’t fault it. Be aware stairs to room are steep and curved if you have mobility issues. We didn’t. Richard very helpful and excellent host. Breakfast very good.

Cannot fault the classy Ogilvy

it's immediately obvious that Richard and his wife have put a great amount of thought and investment into Ogilvy with the quality of everything from decor, bedding through to high end bathrooms. They continue with that effort in everything you experience - the warm welcome, the delicious breakfast choices and helpful service (always delivered with a little dry humour from Richard!). Would not hesitate to recommend. Outside of the Ogilvy, there are some decent local pubs and (the Thai restaurant nearby was excellent) and you are in a good spot generally for exploring north Norfolk. The only annoyance was the one way traffic through town which meant a queue coming back into Croner each day but it was half term so perhaps just a case of peak traffic.

We booked for three nights over a long weekend and couldn't have asked for better accommodation. Ogilvy House is outstanding in all respects: beautifully presented, comfortable and clean, delicious breakfastS, located in a quiet part of Cromer but only a short walk from the seafront, and our hosts couldn't have been more helpful or hospitable. A 5 star Guest House

Parking was easy. Our room was exemplary clean and decorated with a lovely modern ensuite . breakfast was varied. Hot and very tasty indeed .Host Richard was a gentleman and very obliging. An added bonus was it was only a few minutes casual walking into the town and lovely beach area. If your looking to go to Cromer I would definitely recommend the Oglivy.

As a Hotel School Graduate(1968) and Hotelier for over 50 years I tried very hard to find something to complain and honestly I couldn't. if I ever go to that part of England again OGILVY HOUSE would be definitely my first choice.

Very pleasant guest house

The house is lovely, the staff are very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful, the only gripe I have is that our room was at the top of the house my wife has a bad knee so it was quite difficult for her to get up and down, if we book again it will have to be on the second floor, other than that it was a nice stay.
