“The place is under a new management and has been remodeled. The whole place was extremely clean. We did have some problems with the keyless locking system and did not have internet for the night we stayed there. There is a restaurant that had just opened from 7:00 to 3:00 and a 24-hour convenience store that is well lit with little snacks and sodas and such in vending machines. The location is quite quiet and right off the Blue Ridgeparkway. Pretty close to an excellent restaurant Chateau...

“The no smoking room smelled like a thousand people had smoked in it for 40 years and no one has ever cleaned it. The breakfast was horrible. The rooms have not been updated in my generation.
Our experience was terrible. We will never stay in an Econolodge again!!! ”
