Vacations Close To Cricket Hill Winery

This is a true roadside motel that has been updated with simplicity and was very clean. We only stayed one night as we passed through Ashland. The bed was fine, it had a noisy a/c wall unit but that helped to muffle the freeway sound. Very nice owners/staff. It was easy to walk the dog to have her got potty but I will say our dog who makes this trek regularly didn't even relax. I would not pay over $100 for this room. It's a place to sleep only and be out adventuring. The gas station is next store so that makes it nice if you forgot to pack something. The cute coffee / tea stand is good for tea only our coffee (mocha + cortado) was worst ever and we literally dumped it out before we even hit the freeway; so sad to do that!

Clean room and good breakfast options. King bed was small king, very lumpy and the comforter shifted down to the bottom of the cover and therefore slid off the foot of the bed. The room was so small we could barely walk around.

The place was cute. Room was really nice and bed was comfy. Close to downtown. Would stay there again.

This was a last-minute stay, and we thought it was wonderful from the moment we got there. Food and bartender was amazing in the evening room with clean definitely will stay again.

The hotel was clean and most of the staff very helpful. We were located in a small, remote section of the hotel so umbrellas in the rooms would have been helpful to get to the main building where breakfast, ice & other amenities are located. At check out I asked for a receipt but was told that, since I booked through a third party, it would come from them. On this trip I booked 4 hotels through Hotels.com and all but this one provided a receipt. Seemed very unhelpful to me. If you are normally a walker it is an easy walk to the shops and many restaurants.
