The unit was very dated. It is also odd that you walk into the bedroom, having to go through it to the sitting area/kitchenette. Our room adjoins another room, and we heard their TV and chatting until they went to sleep. That was annoying. The location and staff were phenomenal

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
I will not stay at this property again until Vail resorts improves customer service and staffing issues. Our room was not clean. The wrapper from the past guests sanitary napkin was under the bath room sink. There were crumbs on the side of the bed. Good thing I bring cleaning supplies to ski hotels now or I would have checked out and demanded a refund. Every day they ran out of towels at the pool. The boiler broke and we had one day with freezing cold hot tub and pool. They "repaired" the boiler. I let the kids play in the warm pool the next day. We got back to the room to shower for dinner and there was no hot water. When I spoke with the front desk I was told, "Best information that I have is that the water won't be hot for hours." No apology. No offer to compensate guests. We waited, checking the water until 10:30 p.m. and gave up. We did not have hot water until the next day. Very disappointed, as this used to be my favorite hotel in Crested Butte because my kids loved the pool. Stay somewhere else.
