St. Michael and All Angels church Creaton The church dates from the 12th century, although now only the north doorway remains. The tower is 14th century. It is built above the surrounding land.

Footpath south west from Creaton Leaving Creaton past paddocks and a stable, the Macmillan Way long distance path picks up a good series of footpaths running south west, heading for more rolling Northamptonshire countryside.

The Macmillan Way near Creaton On this very good path, part of the Macmillan Way, the predominant colour is yellow, whichever direction you look. There appears to be more rape planted in this parish than anywhere else in England. The single respite is the green woodland of Creaton Covert rising in the middle distance.

More rape across the stream This stream flows southwards to join the River Brampton and then the River Nene. Extensive arable land around here mainly used for a rape crop this year.
