This was a very unique property being a renovated school house from the 1960s. The rooms were very unique and many small touches that showed attention to detail. I would highly recommend as an alternative to the generic chain hotels/motels in Starkville.

Interesting concept

While it is a hotel, it seemed more like a bed and breakfast as there were no staff members on site. The place is very new and there is still construction going on. The breakfast was limited, but as advertised. The location is remote, but tranquil with nice grounds. Rooms are small, but comfortable.

Very unique stay at a remodeled school turned hotel/ wedding venue. Rooms were nicely decorated, up to date, and super clean. Free treats upon arrival. Quiet as we were the only guests. Only negative is the milk offered for breakfast was expired and no one was around for us to let them know. Would still stay again.
