“This venue is very traditional and in an era from 1970s. I kind of like that! Staff were lovely and food was great. Golf course was beautiful although had been suffering with this summer heat. Buggies a must for me. Didnt use the spa facilities. Love the cricket memorabilia!”

“A lovely traditional pub within striking distance of many beautiful places. The food was always great particularly the breakfast and came out wonderfully hot and on hot place which is so often an issue in other hotels. It's lovely to sit out in the garden and we were staying while the World Cup and Wimbledon were on and it was easy to catch the games in the evening but also lots of space to get away from the action. “Overall we were happy with our stay. The outside if the hotel and grounds are pretty, the food in the evening and morning was to a very high standard. We stayed in a very good sized suite, which pleasantly surprisingly had 2 bathrooms with matching showers, toilet and bath. On the whole, the staff were polite and accommodating to our requests.
