“This is a small hotel which has been decorated well. the staff are friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was really good The rooms are clean and lovely. However, there is no lift and there are 3 floors. there isn't a large separate lounge. However ,the views are amazing.”

“Fabulous pub with rooms in a perfect location for the castle, canal basin and a wander around the local shops. Onsite parking made for an easy arrival. Every member of staff was super friendly, efficient and helpful. Receiving a flask of fresh milk was a great touch too. Breakfast was delicious and liked the local provenance. “This "lodge" was a disappointment. The "breakfast" consisted of shrink wrapped continental breakfast items in the room. There was no "service" here to speak of. Not even a number to call or a basic information sheet. Completely unattended!”
