The hotel is excellent for what you pay for. Hotel itself is a little old and could use some updates but everything else about is great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing ocean view. We had a wonderful time at El Coz. Staff is super friendly, beach and snorkeling are fantastic. Morning omelets are great. If you don’t like what’s in the buffet you can order from the dining room. Rooms are a bit weathered but they are clean. This was our 4th stay at El Coz. If you are looking for fancy don’t stay here. But if you are looking for a low key, fantastic beach, budget friendly vacation, this is a great place to stay.

Amazing views, wonderful staff, delicious food. The resort is a bit run down/ in need of some repairs but still an enjoyable stay. Great proximity to the airport. Don’t forget the fine dining restaurant is by reservation only the morning of and there are limited spots so need to get there early. That wasn’t clear when we checked in. The meals we did get to have there were great.
