Easy access to dive boats, staff very nice & accommodating. Swim up jacuzzi bar was nice. Lots of chairs around the pool & beach, towel service. Some small maintenance issues in our room, which staff attended to immediately, & moved us to another room. All was good after that.

Highly recommend getting a massage while on property. Staff was very nice and attentive. Food was good with plenty of options despite only having one restaurant available. Furniture in room was outdated but functional. Great stay and of course, the views and accessibility to the water was fantastic!

Good experience. The "All Inclusive" food offering was decent. Staff were very good. Room was not fancy, but clean and nice enough. Only one pool and fairly small. We mainly use the hotel for a place to eat and sleep while not scuba diving and it worked for that.

We returned to El Cid after 10 years and we still love it! The staff is great and that’s what makes this a great place to stay. We just went to relax and do a little snorkeling and this place was great for both. The small resort made it easy to get to know people and we made good friends on our visit.
