We stayed at Old House for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. The 1‑bedroom suite was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a full kitchen, two TVs, and a balcony. The lobby barista machine, fresh apples, and afternoon cookies were a great touch. Locals Restaurant was excellent, and the hotel grounds, river trails, and nearby parks made the stay even better.

We were in town for BC Bike race the location worked great we had a suite with kitchen that had everything we needed in it to stay for a week. Also pet friendly which was a huge bonus to have our pup with us

Our stay was wonderful. The suite was everything we needed and the location was fantastic. We were surrounded by a lush, peaceful, park like setting so close to town. Our dryer and smoke alarm had small hiccups which were fixed right away by the kindest handy man. A latte machine and fresh backed cookies daily was an added bonus. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

The 1 bedroom suite was perfect for our family of 4, kids age 2 and 5. Location was perfect for our needs. The pool, apples, and fresh cookies were huge draws for our little guys and I loved the coffee machine! We also loved the access to the Riverwalk trail. I’ve stayed in other hotels in town for work in the past, but this place tops the list now!

I really liked the property and surroundings. Easy drive to the restaurants and a beautiful area. Hotel was fully booked so I could not change the room to have water view but the noise from the street wasn't impacting my sleep. Staff was professional and helpful. Price was on a higher side but room was clean, spacious, and everything worked well.

We love this hotel. It's convenient to everything Courtenay & Comox has to offer. A short drive to town or a nice walk along the river, if it's not too hot. You can walk along the river in both directions from the hotel. The hotel grounds are beautifully kept up. The swimming pool is nice for families and they offer complimentary cookies and coffee/tea every afternoon. Rooms are comfortable and the river view is nice. We enjoy using the kitchen when we are there so that we don't have to eat every meal in restaurants. The hotel is child & pet friendly and there is plenty of parking right outside the building. The only drawback is that at the second building, people are allowed to smoke in the parking lot, so you have to go by the smoking area before you get to the parking on the way in/out each time. We would definitely stay here again and again, as we have in the past. A memorable and relaxing hotel for our family.
