We stayed for an athletic event and the woman that checked us in was especially helpful. We noted that we were leaving very early and needed ice and she prepared a package and delivered it to us for the freezer in the room.

The property is clean, for an older motel. The mattress was awful lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. The place was very clean otherwise. And overpriced at 197.00 a night in a small town for what you got

We ended up staying here because the motel where we'd been was totally booked and we needed somewhere else to go for one night due to events in Eugene. It turned out to be a great choice. The lady at the desk was friendly and informative, we could park right by our room, and the room was comfortable (most comfortable bed I'd slept on in several weeks of traveling!). It's nothing fancy but it's rather charming and we were happy to stay here. It even had good water pressure! The drive from Springfield to Sweet Home was absolutely GORGEOUS, so that was an added, if not quite related, benefit.

Arrived around 4pm, check in was at 2pm. She said our room wasn't ready yet. The entire motel was empty. Had to wait for "our" room was cleaned. Couldn't check in because the owner wasn't there. When we finally got a key, we left for a while. When we came back, there was no running water. They gave us a few 12 ounce bottles. Couldn't shower or flush the toilet. The next day, they moved us. The new room was good. The manager was friendly & apologetic. The first night we wanted to leave, but there are no other hotels with vacancies near-by.

Kind front desk clerk and beautiful property! Love fresh coat of paint and cleanliness. Unfortunately our AC struggled to cool the room on a mid 80 day until about 3am. The water pressure in the bathroom only existed if water was turned on extremely hot. Good for a cold day yet not when your room is feeling like a sauna.

This is a great place to stay for a short visit. I stayed here because I had a Triathlon race just down the road from Sweet Home. The staff, check-in Lady was super kind and let me check out late. Thank you!
