About a 20 minute walk from the Piazza di Roma, this location was a nice balance of convenience to the city center and quieter surroundings for relaxation. There is a nice walking/biking trail immediately behind the hotel and staff was helpful with early check in and luggage storage during my hike.

Clean room, plenty of space. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice bar and lounge areas to have a drink or play cards/board games. Nice restaurant, decent breakfast. This was a good anchor point for 4 of our hiking days in the Dolomites.

Full service hotel in a perfect location woth convenient access to skiing and walking distance to the town of Cortina. City Bus picks up and drops off in front of the hotel. The staff was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. We felt right at home. The breakfast was great and we ate dinner on 2 nights (we were only going to eat one evening but the beet ravioli and venison pasta was so good we ate a second night) because the food was so wonderful. The room was spacious, very clean and the location was perfect (20 minute walk to downtown) but so nice and quiet. We had a beautiful room facing the gardone with a balcony. We have no complaints and would highly recommend the hotel for those who wish to be close to Cortina but out of the noise and people.

A great spot with excellent people, The cozy lobby bar with real fireplace and friendly bar tender was the perfect spot Aprex Ski! The Hot Tub was interesting...no suits allowed! Excellent breakfast included 10/10!

Room was clean and breakfast was nice however ran out quickly and reduced restocking after first hour of sitting. Bathrooms clean too although very dated and curtains didn’t close properly in bedroom. Also rooms at front of property disturbed by road noise so request back of property room when booking to ensure restful nights sleep. Some of staff not very welcoming and friendly

Our room was clean and staff was friendly. However our room is very small (we booked an economy room) that can barely fit two people and two suitcases. The room was facing street so it was loud at night. The sound insulation was not good between rooms - we could hear all conversations from our neighboring guests. Overall it’s an okay experience - I do not think it justify the 250 euros a night though.

Really pleasant hotel in the traditional style. Ample free parking, including some covered spaces. Excellent varied buffet breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice cosy bar and various other. Some rooms are in an annex which is a short walk, but it's nice and quiet and the annex building is also very charming. Rooms sizes very good, ours -one of the smaller rooms- did not feel at all cramped and had a double aspect balcony. Nice grounds and you can easily access the old railway walking trail directly from the hotel grounds , which gets you into Cortina in about 15 mins car-free and avoids walking along the unpleasant and busy SS51 main road. We don't think there's a ski room, but there are plenty of warm and dry places you can put your skis and boots. The wellness area looks nice but we didn't use it and there is an additional charge (although it may be included in some rates, which is worth checking). Restaurant looks lovely, but we didn't eat there. Hotel is very clean and spotless. Definitely a good choice for a quiet break. Suits couples and small groups I think, although for families and larger groups I'd say there are probably better suited hotels elsewhere ( eg the Mirage has a swimming pool and kids play area, both things that the Menardi doesnt have).

Beautiful hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. So many neat wood carvings, antiques, great spaces for relaxing, nice bar, good kitchen. Room was clean, decor nice. Really love the place but lack of AC prevented restful nights. We opened the windows but the traffic noise was intense throughout the night. Our room was on the front of hotel right on the road. Cars, scooters and a fair number of semis traveling through disrupted our sleep. Really would have loved to give 5 stars but probably should have given 3.

Pleasant chalet style property along the main road the runs north out of town. The room was clean and spacious and included a small terrace. The staff were helpful. The breakfast included an extensive amount of pastries and other items (eggs, bacon…). The parking was tight/limited but it all worked out. WiFi was *mostly* reliable but you’re not going to get blazing bit rates. Overall, a good stay.

Breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk in the evening provided great advice on hiking and weather conditions. The room itself needed to be updated; very old furnishings and the lighting was very poor and also not much room for relaxing in the room. Our room faced the back of the hotel which had little street noise, though the hallway doors were very loud with opening and closing. The bathroom overall was clean and seemed to be more recently updated, though it also needed better lighted. The shower/tub was high off the floor and may be difficult to enter for some. The location was perfect being close enough to walk to downtown and there was also a trail behind the hotel. There was ample parking behind the hotel with some covered parking.
