To the rooms were very large and spacious and very clean. The staff were super nice and answered every question I had. It was nice to have chairs outside the room to drink my coffee and smoke cigarettes in the morning. I did not use the pool but it looked like a very nice area.

Overall the property was as expected for a Days Inn. However, our room had a TV that was only displaying green and blue, as the red was either not working or was incorrectly adjusted, as well, it was also not nearly bright enough (good that I don't watch much TV). Also, there was quite a bit of black mold growth around the bathroom vent. The breakfast and staff were good.

The rooms were decent, with the exception of one of the tubs not draining properly. The front desk wasn't knowledgeable or friendly, and the housekeeping staff began loudly "encouraging" us to check out by 8 am... Checkout is at 11 am. Even with do not disturb signs, they were knocking and asking us to leave. The breakfast is pretty much cereal and a waffle station.

We have stayed there for years, they do not do maintenance well. The room was clean enough. The bathtub has a hole in bottom that will pinch your foot if you stand on it. The toilet is loose from the slab and the seat is loose from the toilet. The room smells like a sewer at times. The breakfast is just cheap junk. This past week we were in room 121 in Port Aransas. I guess the pool is the best amenity, but the fountain doesn't work.

It was a only a couple mins drive from the beach which was pretty convenient. The staff was awesome, the hotel room was very very spacious, and they even had a special bird alarm for when you slept past the sunrise lol (gotta love the seagulls)
