We enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay. Setting was stunning, with the beautiful beach and sea. 2 lovely pools, free rental for kayaks, paddle boards and snorkels. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were exceptional, especially Acea who worked in the restaurants. Food in the restaurants at night was very nice but breakfast wasnt to my taste. Trees full of fruit bats were a special treat.

What a wonderful and truly unique island, a real natural beauty. The staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the surroundings felt spacious and never crowded. It all felt very exclusive. Well worth spending a few days here.

We has a great time at Discovery Coron. The staff were friendly and very accommodating starting from the airport pick up, transport to the hotel and the hotel check in/check out. However, my daughter was bitten by what appears to be bed bug bites all over her leg, feet and arms. We had 2 rooms booked, but she stayed at 3106. Her bed was closest to the double doors. We’d like to notify the hotel to investigate/remedy the issue so it does not happen to other guests.

It was a WOW coming in to the island on the bargka boat. We were initially picked up at a wee dock in the countryside and rode down the mangrove lined river before entering the ocean. Food was great, room was lovely and staff were very attentive. We were here during the US/Iran war so it was very quiet. We had a palapa and beach chairs to ourselves. Chance to snorkel, kayak and paddle board. Pool was nice although the water was warm from the sun. The bats were so cool, seeing them all sleep in the trees and then leave at sundown. They had a baby bat which we could see every day. The morning hike to see the sunrise was stunning. Highly recommend spending some time here.

The Filipino staff are very polite, respectful, and always ready to help. That really stood out and should definitely be kept. It’s also a big plus that guests don’t need to rent kayaks or paddleboards separately - having the fins included adds extra convenience.

it’s one of the most amazing resort we’ve been! We knew this place when my dad was in the executive position of DENR but we never had the chance to visit then. The view of the island as you approached-white sand , the island in the distance standing proud & calm welcoming you home, was out of this world beautiful I was so emotional I was welling up whilst soaking in the view. The hospitality of the staff is top notch, they welcomed us with the most refreshing drink & warm towel. We had the Sunset villa -de luxe, the view was magnificent, we had our own private space by the beach, the stretch of white sand, the other islands exquisitely lining up the horizon, and the calmest bluest water are so beautiful you’l hear the gods of nature singing in your soul. The staff will greet you ever so sincerely each time they see you around, they will do everything to make your stay the most special & comfortable. I really enjoyed the (daily!!) complimentary drinks for the sunset villa guest, my husband doesn’t drink much so had them most for myself! We enjoyed all the foods, although it was expensive as expected I was more thsn happy to pay for the high quality foods they serve! Discovery Coron thank you so very much for the most wonderful time we had in that out of this world paradise! It was what we need to enjoy life as a family again! We were charged £12 for 3 scoops of ice cream - you don’t get charged that much in London tourist spots!! Everything shuts down by 10pm. We only stayed 2 nights and that was enough to appreciate the location but long enough to move on.

This property was amazing!!! The staff are SUPER FRIENDLY and always greeted you with a smile 😃 The beach and the water was sooo pristine! You can see everything in that beautiful clear ocean water! It was also great that they had kayaks, paddle boards and snorkelling gear available to use with out additional costs. Lastly the sunset at Discovery Coron was unreal especially when the fruit bats started to migrate to other islands during sunset! All the guest at the Discovery Coron came out to watch the most beautiful sunset as well as the bat. Thank you Discovery Coron for such a wonderful and most memorable experience/stay!! We had an amazing vacation here at Club Paradise. Nice and spacious room. Comfy beds. Everyday refill of our condiments. Super clean. And most specially, all crews are so nice, polite and helpful. I want to thank Kuya Carding our tour guide who makes our island hopping escapade and snorkeling fun and adventurous. He dives for us to take videos of tortoises and school of jack fish! Look for CARDING for your guide he’s awesome!

Food was below average but Natural beauty was wow!

Very friendly and kind staff, everyone was eager to please I must say. But for American standards, it’s exhausting to get to as the property is located in an island outside of the main island of Coron where the airport is. Its about 20 minute car ride from airport to dock where the boat waits for you, and another 30 minutes to the property by boat. The car ride to the dock is a bit depressing going through very impoverished neighborhoods and dirt roads(I got motion sick from the car ride very bumpy roads). The food all over the philippines has been disappointing to American standards. I ate eggs and fruit for breakfast, and chicken caesar salad for lunch and dinner with fruit smoothies everywhere I went in the country. The excursions through nearby islands were great as the natural beauty of the philippines is unmatched( I have been to 40 countries) never seen anything as beautiful as what I saw. My advice is don’t have high expectations for food or service, focus on the natural beauty of the landscape and your beautiful vacation photos and you’ll be fine. Looking to the bright side eating the way I did forced me to be healthy and I lost body fat in the Philippines… when life feeds you lemons make lemonade ! Ha! Hope this helps.
