Good space (table, sofa area) two single beds in the kitchen/ sitting area and a king in the separate room. Share bathroom. Laundry facilities (NZD2 coins). Nice for a short stay. Good location to get into town. The noise on the main road was a bit loud and there is no privacy whatsoever since most all the rooms face the parking lot and the one window faces all the parked cars and people. That is the only downside. Bed was very comfortable and coffee was delish.

Nice motel very near to Coromandel Town city center. Hotel seems to be quite new or has been renovated recently. The rooms are clean and equipped with modern interior including the bathrooms. Restaurants and shopping are just a 5 minute walk away. Overall a good place to start exploring Coromandel and vicinity.

Olive is a Winner

Olive motel is well located a few minutes walk from Coromandel township. The units are fresh and immaculately clean and the whole complex is beautifully maintained. Would recommend.

Very nice and new feeling. Spacious unit. So clean. Owner David is manager and very friendly and helpful. We were so happy to be given an upgrade for our 1 night stay and ended up staying a 2nd night. I5 minits walk to town and all the eateries. I would definately recomend this place.

After a week travelling through Northland, we found that David and Olive Motel was the best of all. Having the owner on site is a big plus too. David gave us the best advice re dinner and breakfast dining options. The motel was extremely clean, modern,conveniently situated, plus, and this is a big one, the shower did not leak water on the floor!! Very impressed - and made Coromandel a delight to stay at. Thank you.
