Clean, spacious room with good beds. Simple breakfast buffet is included. However, the place has no restaurant - need to drive to nearby towns/villages. Plenty of parking. Very short walk to beach. Major advantage: this is a quiet neighborhood, away from the stripmall like Kitty Hawk and Kill Devils towns.

Front desk staff all very nice and helpful. Rooms always clean and tidy. Breakfast was not good at all. Eggs were way over down. Too rubbery! I didnt get to make a waffle because of the station being over crowded every morning no matter the time. We will come back but would rather have breakfast somewhere else.

Pros: 3 pools, hot tub, lazy river, great location, lobby was clean, room was pretty clean, great breakfast and good coffee Cons: 2 live spiders in rm & hallway, needs updates and major maintenance (our sprinkler near ceiling was a hole), mold in bathroom, filthy door, nasty carpet, no grout in tile floor, entire fire alarm system went off at 4:45am so everyone went outside waiting for ok from FD, missing tiles throughout ALL pools/ lazy river

We enjoyed the free breakfast, 3 pools, food/drinks available to buy in the market, comfy room, and boardwalk to the beach (although we saw some senior citizens struggling with the last step to the beach). Since it’s an oceanfront property it’s probably hard to keep carpeting fresh, so the hallways smelled bad and pool areas could have been cleaner. But small complaints overall.

Room was late being cleaned, staff was great, but if there was a problem with housekeeping couldn’t convey the message because many did not speak English (ex if you needed towels , they would not understand the request). I would than have to call down to desk, but than have to go down and get them myself. Breakfast was good!! Balcony was good, property was a little run down and you could see maintenance was not kept up
