Vacations Close To Cornell Lab of Ornithology

we were not prepared for the blatant violation of the "no pets left unattended policy" especially since we were informed by the desk staff, that the dog was owned by the manager. The dog was in the "apartment" next to our room and it barked all afternoon when we returned to the room to rest and well into the evening. It stopped around 9 pm  and we heard it again at around 5:30 am as it was scratching to be let out of its room. You could hear the dog barking in the lobby and it was upsetting and disturbing to other guests. The apartment the dog was in was at the top of the stairs off the lobby. We asked at the desk to have the dog removed or for us to be given another room (we had traveled 7 hours and were in need of rest) but the hotel was fully booked. We asked for the manager to be called and we were told "he was at dinner with his family and could not be reached." He was present when we checked in. The room was clean and the breakfast bar was stocked. Parking was adequate.

Not a friendly place.

Worst hotel service ever. Apparently they can’t get Expedia message from their customers and fail to follow up after any incident or complain. This is not representative of how the Ithaca community is.

The cabins were immaculate! For Once, this place was well planned because we had enough electrical outlets for all our devices. Can’t wait to return with all our family!

Pretty clean and quiet. I was surprised that the outer side doors were kept unlocked and didn't require a key for entry. I also wish the mini fridge had a freezing component. Otherwise a nice place.

Excellent all around. Definitely would come back again.

The tent was clean and comfortable. The fire pits were fun and the staff provided all wood etc needed to make a fire.
