“Good value for money, room was clean and staff were helpful. I would say to avoid ground floor rooms if you can as they are very hot in the hot weather and windows can’t be opened. Other than that would stay there again.”

“One night stay midweek - hotel was very quiet with a lovely pub garden. Main issues were the WiFi not working in my room (and I had no phone signal either), reception staff friendly and helpful but couldn’t fix the issue so that wasn’t ideal. The room wasn’t that clean - numerous dead spiders and flies on my carpet and a face full of cobweb when I walked in. “Nice looking interiors. Funky room. The young lady on reception was really outstanding. Food wasn’t great in the restaurant. Externally harassed by homeless couple asking for money on approach to hotel. Parking is in the multi storey station car park, great smell of urine on each entry way! Upside it’s not a long walk to the hotel but I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it if I was alone travelling. Bonus you get reduced parking fees.
